Interlibrary Loan Clerk
Full-time

Description/Responsibilities:

Do you enjoy interacting with others and being a valuable resource? The Anderson Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic Interlibrary Loan Clerk to join our team to serve our diverse community! In this position you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by responding pleasantly and efficiently to customers’ requests for interlibrary material. As the Interlibrary Loan Clerk, you will retrieve items from shelves as well as pack and unpack loan materials. You’ll also update spreadsheets, process items borrowed from and loaned to other libraries, record keeping, and assist with maintaining supplies.  You will also work with the Community Engagement and Marketing Manager to provide suggestions on interlibrary loan service content for the library’s social media accounts. 

Qualifications: Customer service work experience. Clerical and computer work experience; ability to perform general internet and database searches; experience creating Excel spreadsheets preferred.

Compensation: $16.25 - $17.27 per hour

Schedule: 40 hours per week, including some night and weekends
